SIDE 2: Just in case you are finding it hard to believe – the left hand image shows how both squares are exactly the same colour. We are fooled by the shading that surrounds each box. In similar fashion many well meaning people today are fooled into thinking that their good deeds will merit entrance into Heaven. However, by comparing ourselves with each other we fail to understand God’s standard of goodness – The Ten Commandments. How many of them have you kept? Ever lied or stolen? Ever blasphemed God’s name or looked with lust? (God considers lust to be adultery of the heart.) Ever hated anyone (God considers hatred to be murder), or dishonoured your parents? God sees in black and white – not shades of grey. For there is not a just man upon earth, “that doeth good, and sinneth not.” (Ecclesiastes 7:20) If found guilty on Judgment Day God must by His nature send you to His prison – eternal Hell. Your only hope of escape is if someone pays your debt of sin on your behalf. The good news is that, “God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8). Please repent (turn from sin) and trust in Christ’s sacrifice to save you today.
