SIDE 2: How often we over complicate things when the answer is actually very simple. Simply put a line on the first ‘+’ making it into a 4. Consider the simplicity of this message: When we look around us and see the creation – we know there is a Creator. We also have a conscience which tells us right from wrong. We know it is wrong to lie, steal, blaspheme, dishonour our parents, look with lust, commit adultery, hate, murder, and covet. If we break any of these laws we then become lawbreakers, and God could never let lawbreakers into His perfect Heaven. God has prepared a prison for lawbreakers – called Hell. Jesus said: “The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.” (Matthew 13:41-42) However, 2000 years ago God sent His Son (God in the flesh), born of a virgin, to live a perfect life (which we could not), and then suffer and die in our place on the cross. It’s like this: we broke God’s law – and Jesus paid our fine. Then He rose from the dead defeating death. If we repent (turn from sin) and trust in Him we will be saved.
